MTG Advent Calendar - A New Surprise Every Day! - Classic Design

This is a handmade wooden advent calendar for trading card game booster packs. There are 12-day and 24-day varieties, and they're both available empty for DIY usage or pre-filled with MTG booster packs.

I built the first one of these as a holiday gift for a friend, and enough people asked for their own that I started making them to order. It's the best way I know to stretch holiday hype out across more of the season, with a surprise each day leading up to Christmas.

Each calendar is built by hand here in Virginia. The wood used is high quality Baltic birch ply. Each door fits a standard booster pack.

There are four levels to choose from this year. Listed below:

1) DIY: An empty calendar, ready for you to fill. Perfect if you already know exactly what they collect, if you've got a stash of packs to clear out, or if you play something other than Magic. Works with most standard-size TCG packs.

2) Boosted: Filled with 12 or 24 random booster packs drawn from a mix of Draft, Play, and Set boosters, plus some handmade goodies from my shop.

3) Deluxe:  Filled with 12 or 24 random packs pulled from the full range: Draft, Play, and Set boosters alongside Collector boosters and specialty boosters.  Includes several handmade goodies from my shop. This one's for the friend with opinions about sleeves.

4) Repacks: This is a budget option. Great for kids or folks just starting their collection. This level includes packs and extra things from my shop just as the other ones do, but the difference is in the packs. The daily packs for this level will include random cards from all across MTG's history, in the classic booster pack format of 15 random cards. (10 commons, 3 uncommons, a rare or mythic, and a land/token/foil card.) These are filled with used cards - most of them are near mint, but there will sometimes be some in rougher shape. If you're looking for pristine cards that a collector would love, this is not the level for you. However, if you're looking for something fun and inexpensive, this is perfect. One additional note, the packaging for the booster packs will be paper envelopes that are around the size of normal booster packs, but it will be very distinct from classic booster packs, so the recipient will definitely know that these are not retail MTG packages. Care: Wipe with a dry cloth. This is made to last, meant to be reused year after year. If you ever have anything break, reach out to me and we can figure out how to repair it.
